Classes 1970-1979

On August 25, 2023, Alexandria Louisiana was inundated with over six hundred (600) former students representing Peabody High School/Peabody Magnet High School. For the first time in the school’s history, the classes of 1970 – 1979 came together to support this historic alma mater in the establishment of a Scholarship Endowment Foundation, as well as to reconnect with long-time friends. The school was named Peabody because of a grant that was given by Mr. George Peabody of the George Peabody Foundation.
